The Langtang Valley Trek is a popular short trek with many unique sights in the Himalayan region. Overview
Langtang Valley is a beautiful small area of snow-capped mountains in Langtang Park. Langtang National Park is the first Himalayan protected area in Nepal which protects 14 species of plants and 18 types of ecosystems. Beautiful rhododendron, oak, alder, maple, and pine are the most common trees in the valley. Langtang National Park is also home to rare and endangered animals. Himalayan black bear, musk deer, grey langur, snow leopard, wildebeest, Goral and the rare and most endangered red panda are protected in Langtang park. Tibetan snow and snow make the Langtang valley diverse in flora and fauna.
