Chitwan National Park (CNP) is a World Heritage Site and also has a Ramsar site – Beeshazari Tal in its conservation area. CNP has a history of more than 3 decades in the management of the park and rich experience in resolving conflicts between the park and the people. It is a beautiful region of Terai, the southern subtropical part of Nepal. A total of 68 mammal species, 544 bird species, 56 herpetofauna species and 126 fish species have been recorded in the park. The park is famous for its conservation of one-horned rhinoceros, king Bengal tiger and crocodile.

Overview
Pokhara is a city on Lake Phewa in central Nepal. It is known as the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, a popular trek in the Himalayas. Tal Barahi Temple, a 2-story pagoda, sits on an island in the lake. On the east coast, the Lakeside area has yoga centres and restaurants. In the south of the city, the International Mountain Museum has an exhibition on the history of the mountains and the Himalayas.
